lINTENTIONAL LIVING.  SIMPLE LIVING.  MOTHERHOOD.  PRODUCTIVITY & ORGANIZATION.  EDUCATION.

Living well with littles takes patience.

It takes wisdom from God.

It takes motivation.

It takes the sharing, borrowing, and stealing of good ideas.

It takes creativity.

It takes intentional refueling.

It takes a community.

This is a place designed to encourage you in teaching your young ones, to motivate you to be the Kingdom Builder that God created you to be, to equip you with resources and tools, and to embrace the moments you have. right. now. with the ones God has entrusted to your tutelage.

As Miss Stoltzfus, I taught first grade in a private Mennonite school for eight years.  And I loved it.

But, I loved studying as much as I loved teaching.  So, I paused my teaching career to get my Bachelor\’s in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.

After marriage and graduation, we moved into the city.  As Mrs. Martin, I entered the public school system and taught in a variety of grades and classrooms.

Then my son was born, and I said good-bye to the traditional classroom.  There are times I miss the traditional teaching model, for sure.  But I love this stage, too, of having a first-hand account in watching children develop.

I am married to Kevin Martin, the man who quietly and patiently waited eight years before pursuing me. There is nothing quiet and patient about me and while we have many of the same interests and dreams, we tend to go about them in different ways. We currently have three boys – a 4 year old, a 3 year old, and a little guy who turned 1 in February.  I love this season with juxtaposition of high-energy moments and slow-living; efficiency and savoring the moment; loud fun and quiet napping.
